I made this fried-rice on a December evening in 2005 at our apartment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This became the subject of my very first photograph taken using a digital (SLR) camera. Yeah, I graduated from my Samsung Fino 800 film camera directly onto a Nikon D50 SLR... LOL

My kiddo picking up sea shells from the beach to present to her friends as a memento of her vacation. I particularly liked the lighting and the color of this photograph - her blue dress complementing the blue sea.
