Summer in the City!

This one pulls my heart for my kiddo - She don't know what she is missing... She will never know the fun her parents had; growing up in large breathing spaces, where imagination was the only limit to the kind of games each of us played, never restricted to the balcony or the four walls & TVs and computers and video gaming consoles.... sigh!

By the shores of Potomac...

We went on a drive to Washington DC during the last weekend to watch the Cherry Blossoms. The rainy morning worried us a bit, but my late afternoon the skies cleared up. The blossoms were mostly washed out by the rain, but the beautiful sunny weather that followed for the rest of the evening provided a very good photo opportunity for me.

We had been to the neighboring city of Whippany to take a ride in the 'Easter Bunny Express' being conducted by the Whippany Rail Museum during Easter. The ride was more of a kid's activity & Amiya enjoyed it a lot, and I got a couple of good photo opportunities...
